TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Meetline! By accessing, registering, or using the Meetline mobile application or website (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Meetline and use the App. By creating an account and using the App, you represent and warrant that you can form a binding contract with Meetline, you are not a person who is prohibited from using the App under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction, and you will comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Meetline login credentials and for any activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify Meetline of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. Use of the App

Meetline grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the App for personal and non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose or in any manner inconsistent with these Terms. You agree not to copy, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on the App, except as necessary for personal, non-commercial use.

4. User Content

You are solely responsible for the content and information that you post, upload, publish, link to, transmit, record, display, or otherwise make available (collectively, “Post”) on the App, including text, photographs, graphics, messages, or other materials (“User Content”). You agree that any User Content you Post will be accurate, not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Meetline has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, or remove any User Content at its sole discretion and without notice.

5. Premium Features

Meetline offers certain features, services, and benefits (collectively, “Premium Features”) that are available to users who subscribe to a premium account (“Premium Users”). By subscribing to a premium account, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees and any applicable taxes in accordance with the billing terms in effect at the time the fees become payable.

Meetline may change the subscription fees or introduce new fees at any time, with reasonable notice to you. Your continued use of the Premium Features after the fee change becomes effective constitutes your agreement to pay the modified fees.

6. Advertisements

The App may contain advertisements from third parties. Meetline is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed in such advertisements, and such advertisements are not endorsed by Meetline.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the App.

8. Changes to the Terms

Meetline may revise these Terms from time to time, and will always post the most current version on our website. By continuing to use or access the App after the revisions come into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, where Meetline is headquartered, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the state in which Meetline is headquartered for the resolution of any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App.

10. Termination

Meetline reserves the right to terminate your access to the App, delete your account, and remove any User Content at its sole discretion, without notice, for any reason or no reason, including, but not limited to, a breach of these Terms or if Meetline believes that your actions may cause legal liability or financial loss to Meetline or other users.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meetline, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect and shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

13. Waiver

No waiver of any term or condition of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other term or condition, and Meetline’s failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any additional terms and conditions that may be provided in connection with specific features or services, constitute the entire agreement between you and Meetline concerning your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral, between you and Meetline with respect to the subject matter of these Terms.

16. Service Availability and Disclaimers

Meetline strives to maintain the availability and functionality of the App but cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to the App. Meetline may experience occasional downtime or technical issues, including but not limited to, scheduled maintenance, software or hardware upgrades, server issues, or other factors beyond our control, such as internet service provider failures or delays, or acts of nature.

Meetline disclaims any liability for any loss or damage, including but not limited to, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or consequential damages, that may result from the inability to access or use the App for any reason, whether due to technical issues, service interruptions, or other causes.

You acknowledge and agree that your use of the App is at your own risk and that the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

17. Modifications to the App

Meetline reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any part thereof, with or without notice, at any time. Meetline shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the App, or any loss or damage that may result from such actions.

By continuing to access or use the App after any modifications or changes, you agree to be bound by the modified or updated Terms and acknowledge that Meetline shall not be liable for any adverse effects or consequences resulting from such changes.

18. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and other proprietary rights, are the property of Meetline or its licensors. You agree not to use any such intellectual property without the express written consent of Meetline, and you acknowledge that any unauthorized use of Meetline’s intellectual property may result in legal action and liability.

19. Privacy Policy

By using the App, you agree to Meetline’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. The Privacy Policy describes how Meetline collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge and agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

20. Prohibited Conduct

While using the App, you agree not to engage in any prohibited conduct, including but not limited to:

a. Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of other users; b. Spamming or sending unsolicited messages; c. Impersonating another person, entity, or Meetline representative; d. Sharing or promoting illegal or harmful content; e. Violating any applicable laws, rules, or regulations; or f. Any other actions or behaviors that Meetline deems inappropriate or harmful to the App, its users, or its reputation.

Meetline reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to, terminating user accounts, removing content, or reporting users to law enforcement, in response to any prohibited conduct.

21. Reporting Violations

If you believe that any user is violating these Terms, or if you become aware of any content that violates these Terms or any applicable laws, rules, or regulations, please contact Meetline immediately at contact@meet-line.com. Meetline will review your report and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, issuing warnings, suspending or terminating accounts, or contacting law enforcement authorities.

22. Child Safety Policy

At Meetline, we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Our platform is exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. We actively prevent underage access and monitor for abusive behavior.
If any content violating our child safety standards is found, it is removed immediately, and relevant authorities are notified.
Users can report abusive content via our in-app reporting system or by emailing contact@meet-line.com.
We are committed to protecting our community and complying with all applicable French laws, Google Play’s and App Store’s policies.

23. International Users

The App is controlled and operated by Meetline from its offices in France. Meetline makes no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Users who access or use the App from outside France are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws, rules, and regulations. Access to the App may be restricted or prohibited in certain jurisdictions, and Meetline disclaims any liability for any loss or damage that may result from such restrictions or prohibitions.

24. Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe that your work has been copied and made available on the App in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide Meetline with the information required under French copyright law and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at the email address provided in these Terms.

The French version of this document shall be considered the authoritative and legally binding version.
